Reid Simpson joined Martindale Consultants in July 2016, immediately after college. He began by assisting with joint interest and revenue audits, gradually taking on leadership of those engagements before moving into project management, client relationship management, and oversight of a portion of the audit department’s employees. His experience now spans several areas of oil and gas audit work, litigation support, and damage quantification.
Reid’s primary areas of focus include:

- Project and client relationship management
He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Energy Management. Reid first learned about Martindale at a university career fair while exploring career paths beyond land work and traditional finance. The work itself and the company’s culture stood out to him, and those initial impressions have continued to shape his experience.
As a member of COPAS, Reid stays connected to the broader industry. He values Martindale’s emphasis on its people and appreciates working for a company that recognizes employees as an important part of its success. Looking ahead, he wants to help the company and its team continue to grow as the energy industry changes.
Outside the office, Reid spends time with his family and enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, and cheering for the Oklahoma Sooners.
