Laura began her career as a Controller in the travel industry. She provides senior leadership within the company and serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Human Resources Officer for Martindale. She oversees client/governmental contracts, and client accounts receivable and payable inquiries. She supervises the Martindale's oil and gas small business accounting services and NASBA continuing education certification requirements.
Laura has actively served in various capacities in the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS). COPAS/PASCO positions held include:

- Active Member - Oklahoma City
- Vice-President Petroleum Accountants Society of Central Oklahoma (PASCO)
Laura is a member of the National and Oklahoma Society for Human Resource Management.
