1973 graduate of
Midwestern
University with a B.B.A. in Accounting,
Ken worked for ARCO
in positions of increasing responsibility from 1973 to 1995. These included Joint Venture/Internal Review, Financial Policy
and Internal Control, Revenue Supervisor, Accounts Payable
Supervisor, Joint Interest Supervisor, and Production/Revenue
Manager. Ken left ARCO in 1995
to join Fina Oil and Chemical Company as Senior Joint Venture
Advisor. While at Fina, Ken
was responsible for activities relating to Fina’s Alaska North
Slope and
Gulf of Mexico
operations. Ken is an active
member of COPAS and the Petroleum Accountants Society of Dallas (PASD). Ken served on the recent COPAS teams that wrote revisions to the
COPAS publications Model Form Interpretation 21 "Overhead Joint Operations" and Accounting Guidline 21 "Revenue Audit Protocol and Procedures". Ken’s early
experience as a drilling roughneck, roustabout, and pumper augment the
skills he brings to any project, as does his extensive understanding of
North Slope operations. Ken
joined MartiCons in 1999.
