, Jim worked for a CPA firm in
Midland
,
Texas
, performing financial reviews, preparing financial statements and tax
returns for oil and gas working interest owners, producers, operators, and
royalty owners. Jim was
Manager for a
Houston
retail automotive parts company from 1970 to 1974. In 1974 he became a financial analyst with the Permian Corporation
and later managed an oil field pipe and supply company. In 1982 Jim formed Taylor Consultants to provide consulting, review,
and litigation support services to the oil and gas industry. In 1989, he was hired as Director Contract Compliance for Torch
Energy. In 1996 he left Torch
to reestablish Taylor Consultants. Jim
is an active member of COPAS and the Petroleum Accountants Society of
Houston (PASH). He served as
Vice-Chairman of the PASH Audit Committee and was elected to the Board of
Directors of PASH from 1995-1996. Jim
joined MartiCons in 1999.
