Revenue Accounting - The Basics
A one day overview of
revenue accounting that provides a general understanding of the various
functions performed in the revenue department of an exploration & production
company, an overview of the physical layout of oil & gas producing properties,
how to account for oil and natural gas, and revenue distribution. Participants
will be provided with a workbook and will work through “real life” situations
regarding the issues that revenue accountants are faced with every day.

Individuals new
to the concepts of revenue accounting including new employees, employees in
other departments that would benefit from an understanding of the treatment of
revenue transactions, internal and joint interest audit staff, or those
